2. Lack of Sleep
A lack of sleep can surprisingly lead to high blood pressure. This is because the body actually goes into a kind of stress/shock state when you are very tired.
This is its way of telling you something is wrong and that you need to stop, find a safe spot and take a lie down!
Unfortunately, many of us ignore this sign and instead just plough on – which only has the effect of making us feel much worse!
