1. Having Weird Dreams
This is one of the first symptoms that you might experience if you have never had caffeine before and suddenly drink a very strong cup of coffee or have an energy drink; this is also a symptom that you’re bound to experience if you suddenly stop drinking caffeine: Something which will lead to the symptoms of caffeine withdrawal as a whole. For most people, the symptom manifests in weird, usually very vivid dreams – and this is for people who usually claim they don’t dream at all or don’t usually remember their dreams.
This is because caffeine (and the withdrawal from it) can, and will affect your brain on a chemical level. The most you can do about this is wait for it to even out – or ask your doctor for some sleeping pills to get around the strange dreams it’s been causing. Most people don’t think this could be caffeine!
