2. The webbing of the Neck
There are several different physical characteristics that can be expected to go hand-in-hand with a diagnosis of Noonan Syndrome, and these symptoms are the first things that a doctor will look for in combination with one another when they are looking for things to diagnose the syndrome; these symptoms, especially when they appear together with several of them, can be an almost sure sign that it points to NS.
One of these symptoms is the webbing of the neck, which is usually a very prominent physical feature in almost all diagnosed cases; usually, this is not one of the symptoms that’s likely to cause any further complications later on in the person’s life, but it can help your doctor a great deal to help diagnose it in the first place.
Sometimes neck pain is common, but can be treated as a separate symptom – and is sometimes treated together with scoliosis.
