3. Heat Compresses
Your body undergoes a lot of physical changes due to the hormone changes that perimenopause causes in your body. With these changes, some of the symptoms that you can potentially experience will include what is commonly called hot flushes – and you might also experience abdominal pain, swelling and a range of other generally uncomfortable symptoms.
Of course, we don’t need to tell you that symptoms like this aren’t fun to have to deal with and that you will need to find some quick relief or you might very well feel like you’re going out of your mind in the process. One of the things that might offer you great relief is the use of a heat compress (you can buy these at most drug stores) or a hot water bottle – but be careful to never put boiling water in a hot water bottle; this is dangerous and can burn you.
