Some people might not have all of them, but these are eight that you need to look out for. If you have any of the symptoms, go to your doctor right away.

1. Eye redness is a common symptom of an eye ulcer.

The eye ulcer will cause the redness because the cornea is irritated. Using eye drops is a temporary solution, but it isn’t the best thing to use on a permanent basis. An eye specialist will give write a prescription for eye drops to help with the redness. Use the eye drops as directed. Make sure the drops get into your eyes. Use an eyecup to get the drops in your eyes, if you are a nervous person. While using the drops, don’t rub your eyes. Don’t even use a cloth because it can tear the cornea.

Once the redness goes away, follow up with the eye specialist, so that he or she can make sure the condition has cleared up. It can take days or weeks before it clears. So, you’ll have to be patient and take care of your eyes.
