14 Coronavirus Contagion Prevention Tips

Search for Articles Here >>

The 2019-2020 Coronavirus outbreak is considered to be one of the fastest-growing pandemics of modern times, and thousands of Coronavirus infections have already been picked up across the world with thousands more currently suspected although still pending the proper tests.

The initial first documented cases of the Coronavirus were all found in Wuhan, China and later cases were documented in other parts of the world, most likely having spread to these parts through those infected with the Coronavirus traveling out of China.

Since then, the condition has led to serious travel restrictions and quarantine in some parts of the world that have been marked as high-risk.

If you have traveled to or from any of these places, you might be at risk and will need to take serious preventative measures to stop getting the condition in the event that you are exposed to it.

Here are 14 Coronavirus contagion prevention tips that can help you if you are in a high-risk area or if anyone around you has started to show symptoms of been diagnosed.

1. Using gloves

The use of rubber or latex gloves is usually seen in clinical, hospital settings and they are used to stop the spread of potential diseases between nurses, doctors, and patients; it’s not just useful for in a clinical or hospital setting, though.

The use of rubber or latex (sometimes polyurethane) gloves can also help to stop the spread of other common infections anywhere else, especially where these infections are spread through the air (like cases of the Coronavirus) and where the person might be traveling through a high=-risk area with already-diagnosed instances of the Coronavirus.

Make sure that there are no tears or holes in the gloves before putting them on by blowing a bit of air into the gloves; also make sure that you swop gloves between areas to ensure that potential infections don’t transfer from one area to the next via your gloves. It’s one of the most common mistakes that can render the use of gloves pointless.
