3. Include Fresher Ingredients
Include as many fresh ingredients as you can in your daily diet, and make sure that these ingredients are as close to fresh as you can possibly get. It’s not hard to find fresh fruit and vegetables if you put a little effort into finding the right shops, and if this doesn’t work for you, you could always just start your own garden at home.
Processed foods are exactly this, and the processes through which the foods go in order to get them to qualify as such can often take away from the initial nutrient content of the food. This is why it’s recommended that most people take supplements, and why natural, fresh foods are best.
Especially when you might be recovering from a medical condition like post-polio syndrome, you should make the necessary adaptations to your diet that can help to support your condition. An unhealthy diet certainly won’t make you feel any better!
