2. High fever
High fever is an early sign to look out for with dengue fever. When you have a high fever, you need as much rest as possible. If your fever doesn’t go away, you may need to go to the hospital. At the hospital, the medical professionals will give you IV fluids and Tylenol to lower your fever. Once your fever goes down, you can go home, but you will need to continue taking
Tylenol and drink plenty of fluids. When you’re bitten by a mosquito that’s carrying a virus, it’ll cause you to have a high fever. As soon as you notice you have a high fever, you need to take Tylenol. Don’t take aspirin because it’ll make the symptoms worse and can cause bleeding. You may be able to cure dengue fever on your own at home. For instance, as soon as your high fever comes on, take Tylenol and lie down.
