3. Pain
There are many reasons that a person might experience pain in their heads. When you have a scalp infection, you might start to notice that certain areas of your scalp are tender to the touch. You might even experience pain when you touch a specific area. This can be the sign that there is something wrong with your scalp. It could be something as simple as you bumped your head and there is bruising on the scalp.
However, pain on the top of the head that is not caused by a bump could be a sign that you have an infection or something else going on with your scalp. If you have tender spots on your scalp and they are not going away after a few days, it is a good idea to go to your doctor to have it checked out. There are many underlying health conditions that might be the cause.
