2. Garlic Juice
Garlic is well known for having antibacterial and antiviral properties. It can help fight illnesses and prevent you from getting an infection. If you eat a lot of garlic in your diet, you may be less likely to suffer from mono and other viral illnesses. Garlic juice contains allicin, which attacks the virus and prevents it from spreading or multiplying.
It helps the immune system fight the virus more easily and allows you to recover faster. Garlic juice can be made by grating garlic into a pan and add some water. Bring it to a boil and then strain it into a cup. Add a little salt and drink the juice. You can also gargle it and swish it around in your mouth to help kill any active infections in your mouth and throat and to soothe the pain mono sometimes causes. This can be done two times a day.
