3. Standard: Swollen Glands
Swollen glands are pretty much indicative of a cold, and you will notice that if you have a cold or some sort of infection, that your doctor will often check your glands. What you may not know is that swollen glands can also be one of the indicators for CMV as well. Checking for swollen glands is something that you can do yourself you know what to look for.
You want to feel on the front part of your neck slightly off to the side if you press in there you will be able to feel the meaty part that is your glands. Normally these are not swollen up and you have to press your fingers and a little bit in order to feel them. However, if you can feel them with just a light touch than you might have swollen glands and that could be an indication of CMV.
