
2. Hydration
Everyone knows that eight glasses of water per day is essential if you want to stay healthy, but it goes a lot further than just your general health. People tend to lose a lot of their body’s essential fluids when they’re sick, and even more when they’re sweating due to a fever, or vomiting on top of that.
Always hydrate when you’re sick, and this is especially true for conditions like rubella which directly affect the skin – drinking enough water can stop the rash from turning dry and cracked during the recovery stages, and it can mean that your immune system recovers much faster.
Remember that your eight glasses of fluid per day aren’t just limited to water by any means, but also contains a list of other fluids such as fruit juice, which can also give you the much-needed nutrients boost that you will need when recovering from conditions such as rubella.
