2. Pressure in the Hips
One of the first symptoms which can point to a potential diagnosis of inflammation of the sacroiliac joint is pressure, pain and discomfort felt in the hips.
There are other things that can cause the same associated pain and discomfort in the hips, but at the same time many of these conditions are ones that are considered related to sacroiliitis and likely to occur with it: Arthritis, osteoporosis and ankylosing spondylitis are some of them.
Associated pressure felt in the hips can also sometimes happen during pregnancy, and even in this case, it might be a symptom that points towards inflammation of the sacroiliac joint.
When the inflammation is at its worst, so will the associated pain be – and easing this discomfort can be as easy as taking prescribed anti-inflammatory medication on a regular basis.
Make an appointment with your doctor for any kind of associated hip pain that you might experience.
