2. Gradual Pain
Most often, a person who is suffering from bursitis will first notice a small amount of pain in the hips. This pain could come and go. The pain can become quite intense at times and then gradually worsen. The pain may last for a few days at a time, weeks, or may even persist for months. When bursitis starts to get worse, the pain becomes more persistent. If proper care is not taken it can lead to the bursa bursting, which can cause even more pain and further health issues.
If you are experiencing hip pain that started out as a simple pain and has gradually become worse and worse, it is a good idea to discuss it with your doctor in order to determine the underlying cause of the pain so that proper treatment can be started as soon as possible and you can begin healing from the injured bursa.
