2. Avoid cotton swabs
Avoid cotton swabs or other objects to clean your ears because it can cause the earwax to go deeper inside the ear canal. Cotton swabs and other objects are not made to be placed inside of the ear.
If you need to clean your ear, it will be best to use a home remedy to allow the earwax and fluid to drain out. The cotton on the swabs could come off and get stuck inside of your inner ear. In order to get the cotton out, you’ll need to have an ear specialist to remove it.
Some people use other objects, such as ink pens and the stick of a lollipop to clean their inner ear. By sticking these objects in the ear, it may get rid of the earwax, but it’s causing damage as well. You’ll save yourself a lot of money and headache by just investing in a good ear cleaner remover.
