The pain is so intense that it’ll cause you to be able to function. For instance, if the pinched nerve is in your lower back, the pain will radiate down the back of your leg.
The pain may get so intense that the only way to get relief is by going to your primary care doctor and getting a prescription for pain medication. The doctor will suggest taking the prescribed medication along with plenty of rest.
If the pain doesn’t go away in a few days or weeks, then you may have to have surgery. By listening to your doctor, the sharp pain from the pinched nerve will go away.
The pressure that is applied to the nerve will ease up and allow for the pinched nerve to go away on its own.
