3. Headache
A headache is usually a symptom of muscle strain (usually in the neck, shoulders, or jaw, in which case it’s referred to as a tension headache) or a symptom of something more serious – such as a migraine, high blood pressure, severe dehydration or added strain on the heart and circulatory system.
The type of headache that you would most commonly experience with a Babesia infection would happen with many of the other symptoms that are mentioned on this list, and this is because of the effect that the infection has on your blood pressure and circulation – which can make it dangerous if you already suffer from any kind of heart condition already.
The headache should be treated symptomatically, but when diagnosed with Babesia, it becomes more important for the condition itself to be treated as soon as possible to take care of the symptoms and to reduce the risk of any permanent damage to your health.
