1. Leafy Green Vegetables

When it comes to following a healthy diet, leafy green vegetables are a must. These vegetables are rich in minerals, vitamins, enzymes, and antioxidants. In addition, these green leafy vegetables are very low in fats, sodium, calories, and other toxins.

Any type of leafy green vegetable is good for you. This includes kale, spinach, romaine, arugula, collard greens, etc. These are all high in antioxidants that are known for combating cancer such as beta-carotene and vitamin C. They are a natural source of glucosinolates and they also have antiviral and antibacterial properties. This means that they can help to reprogram cancer cells, causing them to die off.
