3. Suck on throat lozenges ever so often to help heal pharyngitis.
Let the lozenge slowly dissolve in your mouth. If your pharyngitis isn’t gone in a week, you may have to seek medical treatment. On the throat lozenges package, they don’t necessarily want you to take them for more than a week or two. If it hasn’t gotten too bad, the lozenges should work. If not, then you may have to go to the doctor to see what methods he or she thinks you should use in order to clear the condition.
When you try throat lozenges, get a brand that is known for clearing up throat conditions. There are lots of brands out there for throat irritations, but not all of them work the same. Some brands will make your throat numb, but it’s working when this happens. Just suck on a lozenge every two hours or whatever the package states.
