2. Tea Tree Oil
Essential oils have a lot of uses when it comes to certain health issues. Many essential oils provide healing properties. One essential oil that may help with the treatment of boils is tea tree oil. This essential oil provides strong antiseptic and antibacterial properties. These properties can help with the treatment of the bacterial infection that has caused the boil to appear. It is important to note that you should not apply tea tree oil directly on the boil or on the skin.
This can cause a burning or stinging effect, which is not what you want when dealing with a boil. To apply, mix around five drops of the tea tree oil with a teaspoon of either olive oil or coconut oil. Take the diluted tea tree oil mixture and place it on a cotton swab. Use the cotton swam to apply the mixture to the boil. Do this two or three times a day until the boil is gone.
