Lemon juice is a great way to prevent kidney stones. You just need to add a few drops to your water and mix it well. Lemon juice contains citrate, which is a chemical that prevents calcium from forming in the kidneys. It also prevents bacteria growth, so if you are prone to urinary tract infections or other types of infections, it can help with those too.
Some people can’t tolerate lemon juice as well as others. If you don’t like the taste of lemon enough to drink it in your water, you can also take it like a shot. Just add a small amount to a shot glass or a tablespoon and take it fast. You can also add other citrus fruits to the lemon juice and water to add more flavors and hide the taste of the lemon.
