3. Rest
To combat that tennis elbow pain, we are combining elevation with ice and compression. If that sounds familiar, then that’s because it’s effectively the same advice given for a wide range of acute and chronic injuries – under the acronym ‘RICE’. This stands for Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.
So the remaining piece of this puzzle then is rest. If you have tennis elbow, then this will come from repeatedly using the same motion over and over again. The best treatment, in this case, is to try and avoid making those same movements – or better yet to reduce all strenuous activity.
