Feeling lightheaded is one of the symptoms of angina. While being lightheaded is not necessarily a dangerous thing, it can be risky if you are driving or operating other heavy machinery.
In addition, other causes for lightheadedness or dizziness aside from angina can be quite serious. This is why it is important to take this symptom seriously and to seek medical attention as soon as possible. This is especially true if you are experiencing chest pain and some of the other symptoms of a heart attack.
