Having hepatitis A can be extremely debilitating due to the fact that it is contagious and you have to take similar steps in order to be treated. This liver infection is caused by the hepatitis A virus. The hepatitis A virus causes severe inflammation and slowly destroys your liver so that it is unable to function.

The way that hepatitis A is mostly transmitted is through contaminated food or water. Having close contact with someone who is contaminated can also pass on the virus. However, there is a good reason to have hope because hepatitis C can certainly be treated. Some of the ways that you can prevent hepatitis A include washing her hands frequently and taking advantage of any vaccines that are available. You should also learn the symptoms of hepatitis A because then you will be able to seek treatment faster if you suspect that you have the illness.

1. Fatigue

Fatigue is one of the key symptoms of hepatitis in all forms – but especially hepatitis A. In fact, chronic fatigue is pretty common across all major illnesses. The fatigue is one of the major symptoms with hepatitis A, and it can be extremely debilitating until you get your hepatitis treated.

That’s because you have less energy throughout the day to complete your normal tasks, and you might find yourself actually spending the entire day trying to do things that would normally only take you a few hours. In addition, people with hepatitis A often find themselves in need of sleep in order for their bodies to recover enough for them to be able to complete tasks and perform actions that require energy. If you find yourself needing an hour or two nap at least once a day where you normally would be able to perform the entire day without problems, it may be due to a disease like hepatitis A.
