3. Camphor Wrap
Camphor is one of the best natural anti-inflammatories that we know of, and it’s great for removing the tension out of aching muscles – and a variety of other uses, all of which can benefit you if you are currently in the healing stages of a tibial plateau fracture. Muscle soreness and pain can be characteristic of an injury even years later after it’s happened and camphor can be wonderful at healing the associated pain.
For internal bruising and fracturing, wrapping in camphor can also go a long way towards helping the body’s natural healing process – although where open fractures and breaks in the skin are present, camphor could have adverse effects. Also, take care when using camphor with any existing heart issues: Because it’s part of the mint family, it can adversely affect some heart conditions out there, including high blood pressure.
