2. Reduces Pain

There are several types of pain that a person may experience that is related to the muscular system. Soreness in the muscles after working out is quite common. This pain is caused by the micro-tears that form in the tissue. These tears will then heal over time. This healing process will lead to the muscles becoming stronger.

Extreme trauma such as being shot leads to what is referred to as pain. This is because it would cause damage to the nerves. Trigger points are other areas of pain and can be localized to a muscle that is experiencing the tension that has formed into a knot. When a knot develops in a muscle it can cause the other muscles to feel sore as well. The tension will spread throughout the muscular and fascial system. Addressing the knots in the muscle will reduce pain in that area as well as any additional pain from the fascial system.
