3. Burning sensation
A burning sensation around your eyes may also develop if you’re suffering from farsightedness. Much like some of the other symptoms on this list, burning sensations around the eyes aren’t limited to hyperopia can also develop due to various other ocular conditions. However, much like with squinting, burning sensations will often occur when you’re looking at close objects versus looking at objects that are further away.
Also, you’ll find that the burning sensation might be centered around the cornea rather than the other areas of your eyes. This is due to the fact that hyperopia is a corneal condition. If your cornea is unable to focus images due to your farsightedness then it may start to feel strained and thus lead to a burning sensation. There are also some serious eye conditions that could lead to this burning feeling which is why you should go for an eye exam rather than shrugging it off.
