3. Massage
Massage is one of the most effective techniques to bring relief to the symptoms of earache and combined with some of the other methods on this list it can do a great deal to relieve the symptoms and even take care of curing the ear infection that’s causing the pain in the first place.
Swelling, heat, and discomfort can be some of the other symptoms that occur when you have an earache – and in all of these cases, massage can take care of all of these symptoms at once.
Ideally, you’re looking for a light massage to the ears – don’t rub too hard, and don’t put any pressure on the inside of the ear. The idea is just a light massage to relieve the pain. Sometimes it can help to wet the hands under icy cold water to help relieve the warm discomfort that’s often associated with an infection or earache.
