5. Talking About Health Issues
Complaints and unrelenting discussions about their personal health are a sure sign that someone is suffering from hypochondria. A person who obsessively talks about mysterious conditions and new health issues with their friends, families, and coworkers, may be suffering from hypochondria.
Those who suffer from an anxiety order such as hypochondria feel the constant need to be reassured by everyone that they come in contact with. The reason for this is that they are constantly living in fear of becoming ill. They go to the doctor to get reassurance that they are healthy, but this reassurance is simply not enough. They continue to worry about their health even right after being told that there is nothing wrong with them.
A hypochondriac will constantly be looking for different health issues that may be causing them to feel a certain way. They will then need to discuss these possible conditions in order to assuage their fears.
