3. Mint
Mint is one of those overall helpful herbs worth ingesting. On top of the fresh breath you get from this medicinal herb you can grow at home… the menthol contained within it can help reduce diarrhea, vomiting, and muscle spasms of the intestines and it helps relieve pain.
Mint has been found to be a common treatment of gas, indigestion, and diarrhea in areas of the Middle East (Pakistan, India, and Iran). Paired with cardamom, this herb makes a lovely cup of tea. You can even pour it over ice and add a little honey to jazz it up and make it more enjoyable for you if you prefer.
If you are stuck in the office most of the day, sucking on candied mint should help soothe stomach discomfort. Make sure that if your pain is severe, that you get yourself into a doctor to have a look… more testing on the front end is ideal.
