3. Loose clothing
Something as simple as changing the way you dress can give you significant relief from shingles symptoms. If you feel pain and itchiness on your skin, the last thing you want to do is to put more pressure on the area by wearing tight clothing.
Opt for loose-fitting dresses, pants or shirts. This can be easier in the summertime and more of a challenge in the winter when it is time to bundle up.
Also opt for natural fibers that can be gentler on your skin than synthetic fabrics. Make sure you apply bandages that do not stick onto the rashes.
