3. Car accident
increases a person’s risk of developing the syndrome disorder because, during an impact, changes in the body occur. The nerves or blood vessels are pressed together, which can cause the syndrome disorder. During a car accident, different joints can become injured, such as the shoulders, for instance.
The shoulders can get out of alignment and cause pain. In order to get relief from the pain, a person has to seek treatment from a physical therapist and take pain medication. The physical therapist may have to put the person’s shoulder back into place while at the same time stretch the shoulder out to help in the healing process.
The more times the shoulder is stretched, the more it will help in the end. Even though the shoulder will get better, the person may still be limited in what he or she can do since they have the syndrome disorder.
