To apply pressure to this point you will sit in a chair with a straight back and then place your ankle of one leg over the knee of the other. Cradle the foot in your hand and use your thumb to massage the point. Continue this massage for two or three minutes and then switch to the other foot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Find the da dun point on your foot. It is near the big toenail. Once you have located the point, apply pressure. Hold it for several seconds. This point on the foot can also provide support for the spleen when you are feeling sluggish or heavy. It also helps the spleen send out nutrients to the body. The Di Er Li Dui also has other uses for healing other problems in the body. This acupoint can stop nausea, making it beneficial for pregnant women experiencing bouts of morning sickness. The pressure point also stimulates appetite, making it useful for treating patients who are recovering from a gastrointestinal illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

15. Di San Li Dui<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Apply pressure to the acupoint using your thumb, and you should notice your symptoms of heartburn and gastric reflux start to subside.

When we experience a disruption in the normal function of the hypothalamus, we may start to experience a slew of health problems.
