You can massage your own feet or offer to massage your partner\u2019s feet in return for him or her rubbing yours. No matter what, there are a few things that you should know in order to provide yourself or your partner with a great foot massage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Treating Dry Skin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are suffering from dry skin<\/a> that is scaly on the bottom of your feet, there are several things that you can do in order to get rid of this condition. One way to make your feet softer and to get rid of that dry and scaly skin is to use an exfoliating mask on the bottoms of your feet. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To use the exfoliating mask for your feet simply follow the directions on the package. You will leave this mask on your feet for several minutes. When it is time to wash it off you will be amazed at how soft and scale feet your feet will be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simply mix a fourth of a cup of pumpkin puree with a fourth of a cup of brown sugar, a tablespoon of lemon juice, a tablespoon of coffee grounds, and a tablespoon of either olive oil, almond oil or jojoba oil. To make this mixture you will need a cup of Listerine, a cup of white distilled vinegar, 2 cups of warm water, a tub to put your feet in. The mixture may sting at first, but that lets you know that it is working. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make your own you will need \u215b cup of cocoa butter, \u00bd tsp of beeswax, 1 \u215b cup of shea butter, \u00bc cup of aloe butter, \u215b cup of avocado oil,\u215b cup vegetable glycerin (liquid), a tbsp of vitamin E oil, a tsp of tea tree oil, 2 tbsp of lavender oil, and a tsp of peppermint oil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will want to mix all of these ingredients together in a bowl or large container. Once they are mixed you will simply rub the mixture into your tired and aching feet. You will be amazed at how much better your feet will feel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

5. Cuticle Care<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While most people think about caring for the cuticles on their hands, many people neglect to care for the cuticles on their toes. You should really care for your cuticles on your toes in the same way that you care for the ones on your hands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After giving yourself a foot massage or receiving one from your partner take a moment for some cuticle care. You can do this by first soaking your feet in some warm water. Next, use a file or stick to push the cuticles on your toes down. Mix together 3 tablespoons of a good lotion with a tablespoon of olive oil<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place this in a microwave for 30 seconds. After it is warmed, rub the lotion and oil mixture over your cuticles. Be very generous when rubbing it on your toenails. You should first soak your feet in some warm water. You can also use the Listerine and vinegar mixture for healing effects. After soaking your feet you will then want to use your Microplane. This will help remove all of the dead skin. Simply rub the Microplane up and down your feet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterward, your feet are going to feel very smooth and soft. Try rubbing some lotion or oil on the bottoms of your feet and massaging it in. You will be amazed at the difference in how your feet feel afterward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
