5. Nausea and Vomiting
If you are suffering from low levels of magnesium, there is a chance that you may start to feel nauseous. Some people may even experience vomiting when their magnesium levels become too low. While nausea and vomiting are considered to be an early warning sign of a magnesium deficiency, they are not considered a severe symptom of the deficiency.
Even if it is not considered to be a severe symptom, constantly feeling sick to your stomach is not pleasant. If you find yourself feeling nauseous and sick to your stomach quite often, it may be worth asking your doctor about what may be causing the issue. Having magnesium levels that are too high could also be causing you to feel sick to your stomach. Like some of the other symptoms on this list, there are many different causes of nausea and vomiting and low magnesium levels are quite often overlooked.
