5. Eye Infections
Eye infections are surprisingly common and most people out there will develop some type of eye-related infection at least once in their lifetime – and there are a thousand ways to get one, but the most common way is by touching the eyes and transferring the infection from one point to another without realizing it.
Burst blood vessels can be a potential sign of an eye infection, but can also be a sign that the eyes are touched or rubbed due to irritation.
Should you experience any type of discharge coming from the eyes, that should be your first sign that you’re dealing with a potential eye infection instead of a standard allergy. Burst blood vessels in the eyes are a likely symptom to follow this – and it can mean that you’re risking serious damage to the eyes due to this.
Swelling, redness, and itchiness are also characteristic in this case.
