4. Dizziness
Whenever a person’s oxygen and carbon dioxide levels are incorrect, a variety of symptoms can occur. One of the most common is the dizziness. It’s similar to when a person holds their breath for too long underwater or when they swim down to deep and struggle to get to the surface for air. If the blood becomes too alkaline, a person can feel lightheaded and even pass out.
There are a lot of different health problems and conditions that can cause dizziness and lightheadedness, and this symptom may not be enough on its own to allow a person to determine if they are suffering from Alkalosis or another condition. If the dizziness presents itself with other symptoms of the disease, it could be a medical emergency, and the sufferer should seek medical attention immediately.
Once the PH levels are correct, the dizziness should go away. A person may be able to restore their levels on their own with proper breathing techniques.
