4. Urination Obstruction
A person who has bladder cancer may feel like there is something that is blocking their flow of urine. If you ever feel like there is something blocking the flow of your urine you need to see your doctor right away in order to determine what is causing this sensation.
Just like the other irritative symptoms, this sensation could be caused by something else such as an enlargement of the prostate in men. It is best to have it evaluated to determine the exact cause. Generally speaking, obstructive symptoms are much less common than irritative symptoms of bladder cancer. Some examples of urination obstruction include hesitancy during urination.
This is having trouble getting the urine released or noticing that the flow of urine is weak or intermittent. Straining to urinate is also a symptom that something may be wrong in the bladder and needs to be discussed with your doctor.
