2. Alterations in Mood
Adrenal fatigue is tied directly to your kidneys, and this is tied to your body’s “fight or flight’ response – the response that you experience when you are in a situation that warrants you to panic. This causes an increase in your heart rate, and also ups your blood pressure. It’s your body’s way of getting ready for some serious conflict on the way.
If you have adrenal fatigue syndrome, then you might notice some serious alterations in your mood as one of the first symptoms: This can leave you feeling suddenly irritable, or it can leave you feeling like you lack motivation to do anything – leading to feeling extremely tired and lethargic. Mood changes like this can be attributed to several health conditions, but it can also be a sign of something else – such as adrenal fatigue. Mention any alterations in your mood to your doctor so the root cause can be found.
