4. Hot Shower
A hot shower can be great for rhinorrhea. The steam in the shower can help open up your nasal passages and even soothe sinus problems. It can also help your sore throat. The hot water and steam will also prevent your nose from drying out. You can take a hot shower a couple of times a day.
It can help to stay in the shower longer than normal too. If you don’t want to actually shower often, but want the benefits of a hot shower, just wrap up in a towel and set in the bathroom while the shower runs. You can also soak in a hot bath for similar effects.
The hot water will also help with your body temperature if you happen to have a fever with your rhinorrhea. You should stay in the shower until you notice an improvement in your symptoms and use the shower anytime you feel like you need some relief.
