4. Tumors in the neck
Tumors anywhere in the body are everyone’s worst nightmare and whether the tumors are found to be benign or malignant, the threat of these growths is not limited to whether or not they are cancerous, unfortunately.
Tumors in the neck can cause serious disruption to the nervous system and depend on where they are placed, how aggressively they grow, and how quickly they are dealt with, can even cause a person to develop occipital neuralgia.
As if finding a lump or two wasn’t hard enough to deal with, these unfortunate people now have to come to terms with the fact that they will be living with a medical condition that causes all sorts of problems.
The primary concern for people in this undesirable scenario has to be to identify the threat from the tumors, but once this has been worked out, the danger of occipital neuralgia setting in has to be accounted for too.
