One of the more common symptoms involved with the onset of paralytic ileus, Is the development of constipation symptoms. Constipation is an incredibly painful condition where digested food starts to calcify in the intestinal tract. As a result of the illness, the patient may notice that they begin to experience symptoms of pain and swelling in the abdomen, as well as an increase in gas production.
