5. Digestive Aid
Healthy digestion is often affected by underlying health conditions such as poor blood flow, increased stress levels or unmanaged anxiety. Clove oil can help with all of these factors and even bring about the reduction in the development of ulcers, making its use as a digestive aid very worthy indeed.
The topical application as a massage oil is fairly rare for clove oil, however, it could prove helpful in terms of improving digestion. It isn’t important how a person chooses to use it, as it is down to personal preference, however direct internal application with several drops of clove oil, placed on or under the tongue has been found to be a very effective way of aiding the digestive system.
The topical application of clove oil is probably best for the treatment of mild stomach aches and annoying indigestion, but these symptoms could potentially be avoided with daily doses of clove oil administered as supplementation to a healthy diet.
