4. Numbness in the Fingers
When Cubital Tunnel Syndrome manifests in the more advanced stages where the ulnar nerve has already started to be affected by the condition, one of the first symptoms that you’ll experience is numbness in the fingers. Sometimes this can radiate to the elbow, or it can feel like it comes from the elbow in the first place.
The numbness starts small and turn into a more regular symptom – and by this point, the symptom will start to make it difficult to do small, tactile things with the hands. Sometimes the numbness can even lead to injury – such as accidentally cutting the fingers because of the fact that you can’t properly feel what you’re doing; often people put this down to just absent-mindedness, but as it happens more regularly, it should become a concern.
It can sometimes be combined with other symptoms on this list, but this isn’t always the case.
