There can be various different health conditions that are directly associated with Noonan Syndrome, and they are considered to be more than just symptoms of the disorder, they are conditions on their own – and anyone who is diagnosed with Noonan Syndrome at birth will likely be at a much higher risk of developing this associated condition. Because of this reason, a lifelong healthy diet and emphasis on being as healthy as possible should be followed.
Leukemia is a common health condition associated with a diagnosis of Noonan Syndrome, and while it’s not something that automatically happens in all cases, it’s something that should always warrant a closer look if it’s suspected.
Regular doctor’s appointments are important even if you suspect Leukemia as a condition without any other symptoms of NS being present; the condition can still be managed if it’s diagnosed early on enough with a regimen of planned treatment.
