4. Fat Isn’t Bad
But on the whole, fat isn’t the enemy that it was once thought to be! Fat often gets a bad reputation but the truth is that fat is not the enemy at all. In fact, some kinds of fat can be very good for your blood pressure.
One such example is omega 3 fatty acid, which can reduce omega 6 (thereby reducing your inflammation) and improve cell membrane permeability. But even ‘regular’ saturated fat such as those from meats, eggs, and other sources can actually be beneficial. That’s because they will help you to elevate your ‘good’ kind of cholesterol: HDL.
