20 Reasons Why You Will Benefit From Lemongrass

Search for Articles Here >>

Lemongrass will benefit you in a number of ways. It is a plant and the leaves of the lemongrass have oil that can be applied to the skin or inhaled as aromatherapy. Lemongrass can also be consumed as a flavoring, especially in teas. What makes lemongrass so good is that it has antifungal and antibacterial properties.

By having this, it’ll work on a lot of skin issues that a person may be having, such as acne. If you have never considered trying lemongrass before, you will wonder why you haven’t before. You can make a lemongrass drink or add it to your favorite dishes. When it comes to consuming lemongrass you should just eat the tender part of the bottom four inches of it. This part of the lemongrass is filled with all of the benefits that your body needs. Here are eight reasons why you will benefit from using lemongrass.

1. Acne

Acne can be treated with the use of lemongrass. Millions of Americans suffer from acne and over-the-counter medications don’t work a lot of times. They are drying to the skin, which can cause more acne. Prescription medications are just as bad because dermatologists usually give you oral medication, which can cause you to have side effects.

Some of the side effects you’ll have occurred internally such as kidney and liver damage. Your blood has to be checked often to see if the medication has done any damage to your organs. With lemongrass, you can take it topically or orally without any side effects since it’s a natural substance. When you use it for acne, apply the oil to the affected area of the face. It won’t dry out the skin since it’s all-natural. Since it’s a natural substance, using it twice a day will benefit your skin.
