3. Diarrhea
Intestinal problems are common with Addison’s disease, but it can be difficult to differentiate between normal digestive problems and those associated with the disease. Again, the story is in the hormones. Have you ever felt extremely anxious about something? Perhaps you thought that you were going to get fired or evicted from your apartment. Being extremely worried about something and having that anxiety can make you feel nauseous and can provoke your body into having intestinal symptoms like diarrhea.
But not getting the hormones that you need can do exactly the same thing. Again, it is all about whether or not you can identify where the diarrhea might be coming from. Sometimes it is just a bug or anxiety from something else in life. However, if this is not the case then you may want to look at it closer and talk to your doctor about Addison’s disease diagnosis.
