2. Inability to Urinate
An inability to urinate is one of the most common symptoms that people with benign prostate hyperplasia will experience, usually together with some of the other symptoms that have been mentioned on this list such as pain and discomfort experienced at the same time. The inability to urinate can sometimes lead to urine “leaking” afterward when the body is subjected to pressure, such as when someone has to lift up a heavy object – and left alone, this can lead to more serious symptoms associated with the condition such as a partial or complete loss of bladder control.
The inability to urinate can also sometimes be associated with other conditions of the bladder, such as a urinary tract infection or more serious conditions like prostate cancer in its early stages. An appointment with a medical professional is crucial in order to establish what’s causing the symptom and to find the appropriate treatment for it.
