4. Strengthening exercises are a home remedy to relieve a broken collarbone.
The only equipment you’ll need is a stick or mop handle. Use only the stick and not the mop part. Lie on the floor with your knees bent. Hold the stick against your stomach with your palms facing in. Raise the stick slowly towards your head. Try to get it over your head, if you can. Don’t force it. Hold this position for four seconds and repeat no more than 10 times.
Another exercise that can be done against the wall. Place your back and hands against the wall. Slowly raise your hands up towards your head and back down with elbows bent. Squeeze your shoulder blades when you lower your hands and bend elbows. Do these eight to 12 times.
The last exercise involves standing with your arms to the side. Slowly squeeze your shoulder blades for no more than 10 times.
